We'll see the world's most famous wine villages, with
their pretty vineyards and old chapels, hopefully see some prehistoric cave-art
pre-dating Stonehenge, the pyramids, and even farming and metalwork. Then we'll
head to the French and Spanish Basque regions, ending in Bilbao and a visit to
one of the finest museums in the world, the Guggenheim Bilbao. The Spanish
Basque region isn't stereotypical Spain. No bullfighters or flamenco here, but
plenty of white-capped waves, windswept gorgeous coastline, and top-tier
dining. Tapas originate in the Basque Country!
This experience will tick off all the boxes: bustling cities and medieval villages, Michelin-starred restaurants and authentic local haunts, local expert wine guides, the perfect balance of free and group time, and as always, charming and beautiful hotels.
